Amber Alert in Missouri canceled after 2 girls found safe, police say

PHILLIPSBURG, Mo. (KFVS/Gray News) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol canceled an Amber Alert that was issued Monday morning for two missing children.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, both children and their mother were found safe.

According to state police, the two children, ages 6 and 7 years old, were initially separated from their mother late Sunday night after the 22-year-old woman was reportedly taken against her will and put into a red pickup truck.

No other information was released by police at this time.
