Laredo Police still searching for suspect in fatal shooting

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A week after a fatal shooting on the 100 block of West Clark Street, Laredo Police say the suspect remains at large.

Authorities said Victor Manuel Valadez is wanted in connection with the death of Roy Villarreal, who was fatally shot early Saturday, Aug. 16. The incident marked the city’s seventh homicide of the year.

Investigators have not released additional details about the shooting but are asking for the public’s help in locating Valadez.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Laredo Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 727-TIPS. Officials said all calls will remain anonymous.
