Webb County Sheriff’s Office partners with Texas A&M International University

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Webb County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with Texas A&M International University to shape the next generation of criminal justice professionals.

The deal gives doctoral criminal justice students hands-on research, training and data access with the sheriff’s office.

It is designed to give students real-world experience and help the sheriff’s office meet its professional goals.

County officials approved the partnership Monday, March 23, during commissioners court.

The agreement lasts up to five years.
