PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV/Gray News) — An 18-year-old man is dead and five other people, including a 15-year-old boy, are injured after a shooting at an Oregon home, authorities confirmed.

The mass shooting happened early Sunday morning in Portland’s Cully neighborhood.

The Portland Police Bureau responded to reports of gunfire around 3:33 a.m. When officers got to the home, they found two people seriously hurt. They were taken to local hospitals by ambulance, where one died.

Four other injured people were driven to nearby hospitals by private cars.

Police say the five injured victims are all expected to survive. One is a 15-year-old boy while the others are adults, ranging in age from 18 to 21.

Police described the scene as “chaotic,” with hundreds of people present when officers arrived. Investigators recovered shell casings across three blocks, indicating dozens of rounds were fired.

No arrests have been made, and suspect information has not been released.
