Moringa leaf powder recalled for potential salmonella contamination
(FDA/Gray News) - Foods Alive is recalling some moringa leaf powders due to possible salmonella contamination.
Specifically, 8-ounce packages of organic moringa leaf powder with a freshest date of 110127 and the number 02726 printed below are under recall. The affected product was shipped between Jan. 27 and Aug. 7, 2026.
The powder was sold at retailers nationwide and online at foodsalive.com.
The potential contamination was found when a supplier tested a sample of the super green powder mix, the company said. No illnesses have been reported.
In the meantime, the company said they suspended production of the product while the Food and Drug Administration investigates.
Anyone with the affected product should stop using it immediately and may return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
