Frito-Lay employee dies after shots fired through Sam’s Club
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV/Gray News) - A Frito-Lay employee in Nashville died after the Metro Nashville Police Department said a bullet from gunfire went through a side metal wall at a Sam’s Club on Antioch Pike.
A 55-year-old man, identified as Paris Carlock, of Murfreesboro, was working in the chip aisle in the middle of the store when a bullet struck him in the head. Staff rushed to his side.

The man was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries, according to police.
Police said the investigation shows that the gunfire was connected to an argument that began inside Lavo Lounge, just down the street from the Sam’s Club.
Individuals were removed by security, and the argument reportedly continued outside, police said.
Shots were heard as multiple vehicles were leaving.
