Friday Football Fever: King of the Mountain Week 4

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - It is a heavyweight battle between late-game heroics and our reigning champion fighting to keep the throne.

Here are your choices:

The Challenger: Alexander Bulldogs quarterback Santi Vasquez threads the needle to Brennan Kisslinger in the end zone with just seconds left to tie the game, sending it to double overtime where the Bulldogs took down United South 17 to 14.

The Defender: Martin Tigers quarterback Anthony Jasso drops in a dime to Alex Labra on a beautiful over-the-shoulder catch for six down in Zapata, looking to hold the crown for a third straight week.

Can the Tigers defend their reign, or will Alexander’s double-OT magic make them the new King of the Mountain?
