LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A marginally moist airmass will mean plenty of clouds including thick cirrostratus clouds high above, some afternoon cumulus lower down. Waves in the upper level wind flow may produce rising air Monday night, I will watch the radar just in case, but the air will be more moist over a deeper layer of the atmosphere by Thursday. At that time, lifted air will be more buoyant to rise to form clouds that produce showers. A wave in the upper level wind flow will also be approaching at that time, helping to produce rising motion for tall rain clouds.
