Some local middle schools have been preparing for their One Act Play UIL Competition since the beginning of the school year.
UISD students will put on different plays for judges to see who will win this year's competition.
Each school chooses a play that is UIL approved and they range from tragedy, comedy and drama.
Administrators say students learn so much from being in the play.
Middle schools will compete at the Student Activity Complex this Thursday and Friday, starting at four in the afternoon.
The general public is invited to attend, free of charge.
