Woman hurt in crash with 18-Wheeler near downtown Laredo

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A woman was hurt Wednesday morning, May 7, after a crash involving an 18-wheeler, according to the Laredo Police Department.

The crash happened around 11 a.m. near Victoria Street and San Dario Avenue and involved a blue pickup truck and a large commercial vehicle. Police say the woman driving the truck was hurt, and an ambulance responded to the scene.

The northbound lanes of Interstate 35 were temporarily blocked but are now open. Officials say the crash was moved off to the side of Victoria Street and I-35 traffic is not affected.

Police are still investigating what led to the crash.
