Laredo, Webb County offices closed Monday for Labor Day

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - City of Laredo and Webb County administrative offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day.

Some services will continue operating during the holiday. The landfill will be open during regular hours, and garbage pickup will continue on schedule.

El Metro’s fixed routes and El Lift paratransit will operate normally. The 311 call center will be available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Staff and students at United ISD campuses will have a three-day weekend. They return to the classroom Tuesday, Sept. 8.

At Laredo ISD, students do not have school Monday, but teachers and staff are required to attend staff development training.

Students resume their regular schedule Tuesday, Sept. 8.
