LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Three more people are under arrest in a Webb County vehicle tampering investigation.

Laredo police said 62-year-old Nora Alicia Rivera, 40-year-old Reyna Estefania Treviño and 22-year-old Abelardo Rivera were arrested Thursday, Sept. 3, at police department headquarters.

All three are charged with tampering with a governmental record.

The case follows the earlier arrest of 26-year-old Anabell Rivera, who was taken into custody in Bexar County on the same charge.

Before becoming a Bexar County sheriff’s deputy, Rivera worked for the Webb County Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office.

Earlier this month, Tax Assessor-Collector Patricia Barrera said she filed a report with authorities years ago after noticing something concerning on surveillance video.

Bond for each of the three suspects was set at $30,000.
