Webb County early voting totals climb past 17,000

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The first week of early voting in Texas is nearing its end.

According to the Webb County Elections Office, nearly 3,300 people voted in person on Thursday, Oct. 22.

Mail-in ballots are decreasing. Only 30 were sent in.

As of Thursday, the total number of votes was just over 17,000.
