United ISD to host mental health presentations for families

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - United ISD is hosting a series of mental health presentations aimed at helping families support their children.

The district is partnering with UTRGV School of Medicine for the 2026-2027 series.

The next session is called “Helping My Child Manage Stress and Anxiety.” It begins Wednesday, September 9, from 9 to 10 a.m. via Zoom link.

Parents and families can learn practical tools and strategies to help children navigate everyday challenges and emotional stress.
